Rest In Peace, Captain Sir Tom Moore.❤️🙏❤️

新型コロナウイルスが世界各国で猛威を振るい、多くの人達が不安や恐怖、暗い気分にさいなまれる中、医療従事者などを支援する為の寄付金を集めるチャレンジをし、世界中の人達に感銘や希望を与えたくれた Captain Sir Tom Moore が、今月２日、悔しくもその新型コロナウイルスに感染しお亡くなりになりました😔。

（ホワイトハウスからもお悔みメッセージ。以前の administration だったらメッセージ送ったかしら…🙄。）

私も彼の前向きな言動に元気を貰った一人です。

とっても悲しい知らせではありましたが、特に多くのイギリス🇬🇧の方達は、彼の偉大な功績に感謝し、彼の事を決して忘れないでしょう。

また Captain Sir Tom のチャレンジは、老若男女問わず inspiration を与えました。　

９０歳のある老婦人は￡３０万、１００歳のある老紳士は￡４２万を、自身で立てたチャレンジをして寄付金を集めました。

自分は optimistic だと語っていた Captain Sir Tom のモットー

"Tomorrow will be a good day." 

最近、私もこの言葉を心の中で呟いたりしてますが、彼のこんなシンプルだけど温かい前向きなメッセージがもう聞けないのは寂しいです😞。

ITV News が Captain Sir Tom の娘 Lucy さんへのインタビューでも

ITV: So many people are feeling really bleak and anxious right now. What would be his message?

Lucy: He will be smiling down on all of us and worrying about us and willing us get through this pandemic. My father’s legacy is combating loneliness, grief, and giving hope.

こうして彼の事を知られた事に感謝し、彼へ心から salute!!

We will get through it in the end but it might take time, but at the end of the day we shall all be OK again… the sun will shine on you again and the clouds will go away.
