気付けばブログを始めてそろそろ１年。

私達家族もロックダウン真っ最中であります。
学校も閉鎖になり、大学進学の為にも重要だった学年末試験も中止が決まり、すっかりリラックス中の我が家のお嬢様。
試験勉強で今までずっと忙しく、家族皆でゆっくり映画を観る時間が無かったので、この機会に楽しもうと思います😊。
先ずは家族全員大好きな "The Load of the Rings" の trilogy extended version を観賞。
"The Load of the Rings" 観たならば、やっぱり次は "The Hobbit" trilogy でしょう、という事でこちらも鑑賞。
さて、次は何する？🤔
母: So we finished "The Load of the Rings" and "The Hobbit". What shall we watch next?
娘: I have been thinking to watch "The Godfather" but I am not sure if you guys want to watch it.
母: I want to watch "The Matrix" but shall we watch something more fun?
父: What about "Monty Python"? It's a classic comedy, very British humour. It may be a bit hard for mom to get the jokes but it's funny. Or how about a mockumentary like "Spinal Tap"?
母: Mockumentary?
父: Mockumentary is a fictional film or television program that is made like a factual documentary. Mock documentary. You know like "Mocktail".
母: Mocktail? Is that a comedy version of "Cocktail"?
父: No. "Mocktail" is a cocktail without alcohol.
母: 😅 Wait. She doesn't know the movie "cocktail".
父: No need to know. It's a horrible movie anyway.
母: It is not. And it's a comedy, isn't it? I enjoyed that movie. Maybe we should try that movie?
父: Noooo!!!😱😱
結局、最近巷でも視聴率上昇中で、娘ちゃんとお父ちゃんも気になっていたと云う "Tiger King Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness | Netflix Official Site" 観る事になりました。
こちらは Mockumentary ではなく、ホンマモンのドキュメンタリードラマでございます。
追伸
Speaking of "mock"
実は私は最近まで、
Mock は動詞の『バカにする』と言う意味
しか知りませんでした。
娘が、Mock exam がどうのこうのとイライラ文句を言っていて、初めて Mock が違う意味で使われている事を知りました😅。
Mock exam は『模擬試験』
と言う意味なんですね。
政府が外出自粛要請を出した時、娘は
The government is now telling adults to work from home, not to go to pub, club and theatre but what about school?!
We still have to go to school!!
And we are in the middle of the mock exam!!
Grrrr!!!!
と騒いでおりました。（ま、確かにね😅。）
