『ヨーグルト』からの『ヤクルトの名前の由来』からの『エスペラント語』
赤ペン先生に、「聞いて、聞いて！」と前置きし、
「ヨーグルト？」😶？
「ヨウガートゥ？」🤨⁈
「ヨウガトゥ？」😠…
「ヨーグート？」😡！
「ヨーグー？」🤬‼︎
と、英語の発音カタカナ表記の Yogurt が通じるか試したところ、全て通じませんでした😅。
最後は「何⁈何がしたいんだよ‼︎」と、若干イラついてらっしゃいました😂。
私: You know I can say "yogurt" all right now but I had a hard time to pronounce it before.
So I am trying to test if these Katakana English pronunciations of yogurt works or not. I guess not.
赤ペン先生: Oh that's what you were trying to do. I didn't understand any of it.
私: Some English vocabulary is impossible to describe in Katakana.
赤ペン先生: By the way do you know there are two ways to spell "yogurt"?
私: Yup. American way and British way. There is "H" in British yogurt.
(🇺🇸👉YOGURT , 🇬🇧👉 YOGHURT)
赤ペン先生: And British people don't pronounce "jóugərt", they pronounce "jə́ugət". Like Yakult.
私: Wait. The name of Yakult came from yoghurt?
赤ペン先生: I am not sure about that but maybe.
私: Now I am curious about the origin of Yakult.
英国では『ヨーグルト』って言うより、『ヤアグルト』みたいな発音らしいです。
確かに『ヤクルト』みたい！

ってか、エスペラント語って何ぃ？😳😳

Esperanto is an artificial language.
It's invented for simplified global communication and the grammar is very simple and it's easy to learn.
と、赤ペン先生に教えて貰いました。
へ〜、artificial language なんて面白〜い。
特定の国や民族によって話されず、尚且つ習得が簡単な、世界共通語を目指して作られた言語らしいです。
エスペラント語のルーツがラテン語と云う事もあり、ヨーロッパよりの言語っぽいらしいので、欧州圏の方にはそれ以外の国の方より習得し易いかもしれませんが、世界中の人が同じレベルで世界共通語としてこの言語を学び始めていたら、世界中の人達がもっと楽に、そして同等にコミュニケーションが取れたかもしれませんね。
『ヨーグルト』の話から、『エスペラント語』に辿り着いちゃいましたが、勉強になりました😆。
